Word Translator is a bilingual word translation software for the Apple Macintosh computers. It is an applicatin which can be used to translate words an phrases from one language to another. It can be used alone or from within other Macintosh applications, where it can be used to perform instant translations of text.
Word Translator is distributed as shareware which means that you can try it out and if you decide to use it you must register the software. When you register you will receive larger dictionaries of up to 120.000 entries which can be modified by using custom dictionaries. There are currently over 100 dictionaries available for use with Word Translator in various languages and sizes. See the registration form for more information on the availabe dictionaries.

Word Translator searches for matches as you type so there is no need to wait.
• Always shows the closest match.
All the words in the dictionary that match what you have typed are shown while you are
typing so you can see how the search is going. The translation of the closest match is
also shown so when you have typed in the word the translation is already there!
• Scroll through all matches.
You can scroll through the list of matches by using the mouse or the arrow keys. This
is a handy way of flipping through the dictionary.
• Choice of three windows sizes.
This allows you to control how much space the windows take on the screen and also
adjust them to see longer phrases and translations.
• Choice of interface language.
Choose the language to be used in menus, buttons and other interface elements. This
way you have full control over the interface and can have the way you like.
• Translations can be added and changed.
When you register the software you will get both larger dictionaries and the ability to
modify them via the use of custom dictionaries. Custom dictionaries allow you to adapt
the dictionaries to meet your needs better.
• Translates words and phrases from within most Mac applications.
Word Translator works with most Mac applications including: MS Word, ClarisWorks,
Quark, Excel and WordPerfect. By using a hot-key you can call upon Word Translator
to translate words you have selected in the document you are working on.
